Dragon Boat Racing is a highly traditional and unique sport. Each boat accommodates up to 20 paddlers who sit in pairs. During training, we frequently swap sides, making this a highly balanced sport.
it’s free. And afterwards there’s a BBQ, which is also free.
Register at www.beiloon.com.au and look out for the “Try-out” button.

What to bring? Clothing suitable for paddling. Paddles and instruction provided.
There are up to four opportunities to train during the summer weeks at various days and times, including evenings, that suit most lifestyles.
No prior experience is necessary and all levels of fitness are welcome.
A common misperception is that the sport solely contributes to developing the upper body. You will not only get a great pair of shoulders and a broader chest but also your core and legs will get a workout, too. This is the most exercise you will get sitting down!
Many paddlers start with the single individualistic goal of getting fitter and meeting some like-minded people. In time, however, you will also discover the joy of competing in a team sport and the opportunity to win club medals, right up to National and, even International level.

Dragonboat racing is highly affordable and can work out at as little as $2 per training session. All the equipment you need is a paddle, which can be borrowed from the club or purchased new from $250 upwards.
Take this opportunity to come and try-out the sport on Sunday the 9th October at 8am. Pre-registration is essential on www.beiloon.com.au
The try-out session will last for 1 hour and will be followed by a BBQ when you will get the opportunity to meet our awesome bunch of members and ask as many questions as you need.
Be there and discover your next awesome sport!
